At Kristy Rose, classes are taught in the Acrobatic Arts syllabus. Examinations can be taken when a student reaches the required standard.
About Acrobatic Arts:
Acrobatic Arts is an educational organisation providing professional curriculum for acrobatic dance. The Acrobatic Arts program is based on "safe and effective progressions" It has verified results in five divisions of AcroDance: flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering and tumbling.
The curriculum was developped with input from proffessionals and experts in various movement genres, including ballet, modern dance, jazz, contortion, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, sport aerobics, yoga, pilates, physiotherapy, hand balancing and more. with simple and thoughtful progressions, the curriculum promises to address both the beginner preschool level dancer currently working on log rolls and summersaults to the advanced dancer who's tumbling effortlessly across the stage.
